:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Caroline Maryan -- This book is fabulous! : If you are interested in South Africa and it’s history, especially from a personal point of view, this book is a must-read. I’m enjoying it so much that I’m rationing it! I allow myself a few pages each night, sort of like eating chocolate. I don’t want it to end. ( Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2021 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from BH -- A life full of excitement. : Life was never dull according to Elsa van der Bly in this book. Since we had lived in Africa 8 years, two in South Africa , working at the American International School during 1990 - 1992, the book overlaps the time we lived there. Thank you Elsa for bringing back good memories of our time there. ( Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2021 )
